Flag_of_DenmarkInformation about Denmark

The Kingdom of Denmark, which also includes the Faroe Islands and Greenland, is, with a total area of 43,070 km2, the smallest of the five Nordic States. Nearly two-thirds of its area consist of the peninsula of Jutland (Jutland in German) and the remaining third by the islands, the largest of which are Sjaelland (Seeland), Fyn (Funen) and Lolland. The country has nearly 500 and can be considered a true archipelago. Its border with Germany does not exceed 68 km, while the total length of its coastline is approximately 7300 km. The marine environment no points are located over 52 km from the sea and the weakness of relief (the highest point, Yding Skovhøj, reaches only 173 m) explain the mild climate, while latitude should earn him the harsh winter.
